Amarillo, Texas

July 6th - left Oklahoma City and traveled to Amarillo, Texas.  We went to the KOA Campground.  Great Place, very clean!

July 7th - Spent the day in Amarillo, Texas.  Went to Cadillac Ranch and spray painted, RhoJo 2011 on one of the cadillacs buried in the ground.  I know this sounds silly, but it is such a sight to ride down the highway and see 10 cadillacs buried half way down in the red texas dirt.  It was fun spray painting.
Went to Palo Duro Canyon in Amarillo and did some horseback riding in the Canyon.  Lots of fun.  Palo Duro is the second largest canyon in the US.  Grand Canyon is the first.  The canyon was 170 miles long.  After riding, "Peanut and Hoots," we rode back to the BIG TEXAS RANCH STEAKHOUSE and split a steak.  The restaurant is famous for it's seventy two ounce steak.  They have a stage where people can sit and eat a complete 72 oz. steak dinner with all the fixings in less than an hour for FREE.  Not many have, but many have tried.  What a day - lots of fun!
