Went to the Hoover Dam today. Took the Grand Tour and went below to the bowels of the dam. It was a magnificent and should make any American proud of during the Great Depression - this dam was built. Took many pics. After touring the Dam - made our way to Las Vegas. Stayed at the Treasure Island Casino. Front Desk Clerk liked our Southern brogue and up graded Joey and me to the 36th floor with a strip view. We jumped with joy. Country goes to town. That's us and we're loving every minute of it. This is SIN CITY. I can't help but think of the island in Pinoochio where he turned into a donkey. Hope Joey and I don't lose ourselves. VIVE LAS VEGAS!
