San Francisco
Left early this morning. Very excited about our day. We are headed for a small town in the bay area called, Petaluma. It is thirty miles outside of San Francisco and borders the Napa, Sonoma Wine country. Beautiful rolling hills and believe it or not, LOTS of cows. I had no idea the number of Dairy Farms. We are going to go to yes another KOA campground there. We will take a tour into the city, tomorrow.
TOUR - Angela, from Germany, was our tour guide. She drove us all over the city. I loved the Chinese Tea Garden at Golden Gate Park. We also went to Haight Park and the corner of Ashbury, where all of the hippies hung out in the sixties. Some are still there. Ha Ha. China Town was interesting. Saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf. Rode the trolley car and I took a picture with a traveling band. Our lunch was at Boudin's and we ate the best sourdough bread I have ever tasted. Unreal good and hot out of the oven. Yum, Yum. It was a fun filled day.
Hope you enjoy the pics from "US" traveling tourist.
