Beaches-Santa Monica, Venice, Marina Del Ray and Dockweiller State Park
Left Pamona, star struck after our great tour of Los Angeles on Sunday. We decided to drive up the "Pacific Coast Highway and visit, BEACHES.
We began with Santa Monica Beach and Pier. Ate lunch at the end of the pier and watched 3 young men do unbelievable gymnastic feats and dancing. Paid $32.00 to park the RV. Hated to leave after only a couple of hours.
Our next stop was Venice Beach. I looked, but could not find the muscle bound men lifting weights on this beach. Actually, there were not many people on this beach at all. Both Santa Monica and Venice have the widest beaches. It is a long ways to the water.
We passed by Marina Del Ray. I took a picture of the marina there. Many, Many boats. The largest marina I've ever seen. Took a picture of this. It is posted with this writeup.
Our final stop was Dockweiller Beach State Park. We sat on the beach, grilled out, and watched the sunset.
Our next stop will be Malibu Beach tomorrow.
