Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
It is our second day here at Yellowstone. We got up early, stopped by the grocery store, gased up and headed back into the park. Bought supplies for dinner - soup and sandwich. Plan to stay at Bridge Bay Campground inside of Yellowstone. We wanted the experience and the view from inside the park.
We began with our trusty map and drove around the rest of the park. We went to Mammoth Springs, Tower Roosevelt, Canyon Village, Hayden Valley and then on to our campsite. During our drive we stopped at all of the places mentioned above. We had a picnic lunch on the side of the road and saw many animals on this day. Took some great pics of buffalo, bald eagles, elk and of course waterfalls, and mountainous landscapes. It was a great day at Yellowstone National Park. We got to our campsite around 6:00 pm. Our campsite was beside Yellowstone Lake. What a beautfiul view. Sat by the fire until nightfall. Big warnings from the campground here inside the park. Two weeks prior, had grizzly in the campground looking for food. Glad to be inside of a camper. Had alot of admiration for the tent campers on this night. The campground had big metal food lockers and strict instructions for food storage and to leave absolutely nothing out at night. It was cold here, with a temp around thirty seven degrees. Once again, got those blankets out for a cool nights sleep.
Woke up the next morning to a buffalo grazing in our camp area. What a sight. Took pics - hope you enjoy! So glad we decided to stay in the park. It was a great experience.
